Welcome Ecuador and country director Victor Huerta with team

Ecuador by nature a very peaceful country in the center of the world. A country with such beauty, a culture so diverse, a nature like nowhere else. But unfortunately Ecuador has also become one of the most violent places in Latin America.  We are grateful and overwhelmed that in such times a person steps up to initiate Change.

We welcome Ecuador as a new country to the non Violence project foundation, and we warmly welcome Victor Huerta as country director! After suffering a kidnapping in 2020, Ecuadorian Victor Huerta Jouvin wrote his testimonial book Lure 17 as his own form of therapy. Without having this planned he stopped working in corporate business, and became a full-time non-violence activist; Conferences, workshops and seminars are part of his daily life.

He represents the 17 million Ecuadorians who want and deserve to live in peace again. He knows that the task is not easy, but like many of us, he does not consider himself a winner, nor a loser, but without a doubt he is a fighter who for four years has literally risked his life for his beloved country.

Thank you Victor for all your hopes, efforts and dedication to make our world a less violent place. And a warm welcome!
