Empowering Women, Empowering Communities

Last week, the NVP-team in Uganda, led by Eddy Balina, was on a mission to empower 32 incredible women with invaluable book-making skills. By equipping these women with practical knowledge, we enable them to generate income, create books for their children, and help them become mentors to others in their community, fostering a culture of learning and empowerment.

This initiative perfectly embodies the essence of this year's International Women's Day theme: Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress. As we continue to champion the cause of gender equality and women's empowerment, we invite you to witness the impact of our efforts firsthand.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the US Embassy in Uganda, the team will be hosting a leadership symposium for 100 youth leaders from various sectors - public, civic, and business. This symposium aims to cultivate leadership skills, foster collaboration, and ignite positive change within our communities.

During a recent visit to Jinja City, the Ambassador commended our relentless efforts in combating violence and expressed unwavering support for our initiatives. We're thrilled to announce this significant milestone with our global community.

Join us in celebrating the power of education, empowerment, and collaboration as we continue our journey towards a more peaceful and inclusive world. Together, we can make a difference! 🤝
