Untold stories from NVP india

Non-Violence Project India, at this trying time, strives to give voice to the victims of abuse and hope, to create awareness on the need for peace and love through this poetry series, that is exclusively written and narrated for NVP India by Barkha Guar, writer and poet.

The world is occupied in fighting the pandemic COVID19. It has caused panic, fear, and uncertainty everywhere. The number of deaths is increasing every day and people are losing their loved ones in different corners of the world.
But, there is another virus that is at the rise which is deadlier than COVID19. The virus of hate. In our confined homes, women, girls, and young boys are at greater risk of facing abuse. 

In light of violence caused due to the imposition of lockdown and quarantine on us, Non-violence Project India is proud to collaborate with writer and poet, Ms. @gaur_barkha to exclusively bring a weekly series of poetry called THE UNTOLD. In her creative words, the artist will shed light on the untold events of hate and violence with a hope to foster empathy and compassion during such trying time. .

Untold Stories Episode 1: Purple and Brown With the pandemic COVID19 came the imposition of lockdown for public safety, but the harsher side of the restriction is an increase in violence on women. Purple and Brown of The Untold, poetry series, narrates the story of violence and abuse with women at our confined homes.
