We welcome South Africa and Country director Bafana Nzimande

The Non Violence Project is expanding as in the world as it is today we are more needed than ever. Despite the challenge we face in preventing violence, we are privileged to work alongside brilliant, caring people who want to change this world. Therefore we are thrilled to officially welcome Bafana Nzimande as country director South Africa.

Bafana Nzimande has been with NVPF for close to 15 years. He led the NVPF Soweto program during the 2010 soccer world cup (see image). Over the years, he has been part of numerous programs focusing on youth empowerment through sports and raising awareness on gender-based violence. Bafana is also a multimedia journalist with vast experience and understanding of different communities across the country.

“Too many unlicensed firearms are roaming our streets, causing pain and lifetime trauma to many families. This is not who we are, let’s change it,” - Bafana Nzimande.

Do not hesitate to reach out to Non-Violence Project to see how you can contribute and support the work of Bafana in South Africa. Or any other project, country or education program of the foundation.
