Gustavo Poyet is a Uruguayan former professional footballer and current football manager. Known for his technical skill and goal-scoring ability from midfield, he played for Real Zaragoza, Chelsea FC, and Tottenham Hotspur, winning major titles, including the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and the FA Cup.
On the international stage, Poyet earned 26 caps for Uruguay and was part of the team that won the 1995 Copa América. After retiring as a player, he transitioned into management, coaching clubs across England, Spain, France, China, and Greece, as well as the Greece national team.
As a Non-Violence Ambassador, Poyet continues to promote peace and positive change through sports.
