Patrizia Gucci is an Italian businesswoman, designer, painter and writer. At just 19 years old, she was elected to Gucci’s Board of Directors before later becoming a designer for the company. After the Gucci family business was sold in 1995, Gucci launched her own brand, Patti Patti G. Alongside her career in fashion, she has published several books and exhibited her artwork internationally.
As a Non-Violence Ambassador, Gucci has expressed her lifelong commitment to peace, stating: "Non-violence and peace have always been important to me, and I am pleased to have been invited to participate in this global cause."
In her role as an ambassador, she created her own interpretation of The Knotted Gun, titled P Gucci for Peace. The design reflects her distinctive artistic style and was awarded the prestigious Premio Nazionale Paolo Borsellino prize in 2016 in recognition of its contribution to the message of peace.
The P Gucci for peace sculpture is available in a limited edition, hand painted and presented in an exclusive gift box with a certificate. A portion of the proceeds supports The Non-Violence Project’s mission.
The Non-Violence Project Foundation is a non-profit organization with special consultative status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
