We are thrilled to announce that Zoé Clauzure, the 2023 Junior Eurovision winner, has become the youngest-ever Ambassador for Peace at the Non-Violence Project (NVP). At just 14, Zoé is already using her platform and music to stand up against violence and bullying, sharing her message of peace with young people worldwide.
As part of her role with us, Zoé has designed her own version of the iconic Knotted Gun sculpture, originally created by Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd after the tragic death of John Lennon in 1980. Zoé’s sculpture, Dreams and Nature for Peace, represents her vision of a world built on respect. She handed the sculpture over to the 2024 Eurovision winner, Nemo, during the finals in Malmö this past May, delivering a powerful message of how music can bridge cultures and generations to promote peace.
“I am very proud to be a Non-Violence Ambassador,” Zoé said. “For me, peace means everyone respecting each other’s differences. It’s a world without violence, where my music and lyrics can help build bridges to a more peaceful future.”
Zoé has already achieved so much in her music career. She has performed with well-known artists like Amir and Yseult, and received praise from stars such as Camille Lellouche and Barbara Pravi. She was a semi-finalist on The Voice Kids in 2020 and has released singles like Ma Place, while building a strong following online with her original music and piano covers. Zoé will also release an EP with five new songs soon.
Her 2023 Junior Eurovision song Coeur, which focuses on school bullying, has resonated deeply with audiences, becoming an anthem of resilience and hope. Zoé’s passion for addressing bullying through her music aligns perfectly with our mission of empowering young people to resolve conflicts peacefully.
“We’re incredibly proud to welcome Zoé as our youngest Ambassador for Peace,” said Maria Norberg from the Non-Violence Project. “Her dedication to using her voice and music to stand up against bullying is exactly what we stand for. Zoé is an inspiration to young people, and she joins a legacy of Ambassadors like Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Ringo Starr, Patrizia Gucci, and Muhammad Ali.”
Zoé will be returning to the stage at Paradis Latin in Paris starting on October 19th, and she is set to perform at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest final in Madrid this November. At the event, she will pass her title to the next winner, continuing her mission to spread peace through music.
A warm welcome to the Non-Violence Family Zoé!
