Japan joins in with NVP nvp japan 10月2日、スタート

Non-Violence Project Japan が2015年10月2日、International Day of Non-Violence (国連が制定した非暴力国際デー)に設立された。

著名なアーティスト、アスリートなどの日本人アンバ サダーがすでに10人、決定しており、今後、子どもと若者が新しい社会を築くための平和教育の普及をめざし、本格的な活動を始動させる。

We are please to announce the launch of NVP Japan that has been officially registered on 2nd October, the International Day of Non-Violence. It is a global observance which UN promotes non-violence through education and public awareness.

10 famous artists, musicians and athletes have already become ambassadors to support NVP in Japan.

NVP Japan is set to generate movement in order to make the world better place by inspiring, engaging and motivating, and educating young people to learn how to solve conflicts peacefully.

The Non-Violence Project

The Non-Violence Project is a non-profit organization created in 1993 with the goal of preventing and reducing violence. The organization is headquartered in Switzerland and is active in many countries around the world. Its symbol, the Knotted Gun, is an international symbol of peace.

Our mission is to INSPIRE, MOTIVATE and ENGAGE people to solve conflicts without resorting to any form of violence. Through education and awareness, we measure the impact of our programs and we have a specific focus on youth as we believe in the power of young people as changemakers.
