Javier Hernández, known as Chicharito, is a Mexican professional footballer and the all-time leading goal scorer for the Mexico national team. His career has taken him across some of the world's top leagues, playing for Guadalajara, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, West Ham United, Sevilla, and LA Galaxy before returning to Guadalajara in 2024.
In 2010, Hernández became a Non-Violence Ambassador, using his platform to support initiatives that inspire and empower young people through football.
The Non-Violence Project Foundation is a non-profit organization with special consultative status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
