Elly Pistol x Non-Violence

Brands For Peace & Non-Violence

ELLY PISTOL

Swedish street and activewear brand Elly Pistol has always believed in making a statement - through both design and purpose. In 2020, they joined forces with The Non-Violence Project to launch the "Fight Fighters with Flowers" collection, a bold collaboration that merges fashion and activism to stand against violence.

Elly Pistol is known for its statement designs, empowering individuals to take a stand. This collection features the iconic Knotted Gun, originally created by Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd in tribute to John Lennon, symbolizing a world without violence. The collection blends soft and strong elements, incorporating 90s-inspired details, rhinestones, and bomber jackets, reinforcing the message that fashion can be both expressive and meaningful.

“It’s unfortunately a fact that one out of three women in the world has been exposed to violence at least once during her lifetime. Oppression, inhibiting structures, racist violence, and violence as a solution to conflicts are very disturbing factors in almost all societies. The collaboration with Non-Violence comes very naturally to us, as both Elly Pistol and Non-Violence focus on strengthening and educating young people on how to stand up against violence and find alternative ways to resolve conflicts” - Catharina Schröder, Chairman of the Board, Elly Pistol

A portion of the proceeds from the "Fight Fighters with Flowers" collection supports The Non-Violence Project’s global educational programs, which provide young people with the tools to prevent and reduce violence.

Elly Pistol is all about important and powerful messages that are communicated through our statement designs. We were born as a fashion with a purpose brand because we believe that everyone has to find their own way to contribute to a better world. We take a stand through our collections. The ‘Fight Fighters with Flowers’ collection with Non-Violence is spreading the anti-violence message, which feels more urgent than ever considering everything that is happening in the world.” – Peter Lenerius, CEO, Elly Pistol

By transforming fashion into a platform for peace, this collaboration proves that clothes can be more than just a style statement - they can be a movement.
