Artist & Musician

Meja

Meja Kullersten, known professionally as Meja, is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and artist. She gained international recognition with hits like All 'Bout the Money and Private Emotion, a duet with Ricky Martin.

In 2012, Meja became a Non-Violence Ambassador, reflecting her commitment to promoting peace and non-violence. The following year, she unveiled her interpretation of The Knotted Gun sculpture, titled Mirrors For Peace, at an exhibition in Stockholm.

The unveiling took place at Mood Mall, where the pop-up art store FoKo Art to Go collaborated with The Non-Violence Project to display sketches created by students from Victor Rydberg Jarlaplan and Södra Latin high schools. The initiative aimed to raise funds for The Non-Violence Project and introduce its educational programs to the participating classes.

Further supporting the cause, Meja performed at Obaren in Stockholm, incorporating her Knotted Gun sculpture on stage to help raise funds for The Non-Violence Project.

Through her art and music, Meja continues to inspire change and advocate for peace.
