Joel Lundqvist is a Swedish former professional ice hockey center who spent most of his career with Frölunda HC in the Swedish Hockey League, serving as the team’s captain. He also played in the NHL for the Dallas Stars, where he made his debut in 2006. After returning to Sweden in 2009, he became one of the SHL’s most dominant players, leading Frölunda to multiple Swedish Championships and Champions Hockey League titles.
Lundqvist holds the record for the most appearances in SHL history, further cementing his place as one of Sweden’s all-time greats. In 2017, he led Frölunda to a CHL title, earning Most Valuable Player honors.
In 2010, Joel Lundqvist became a Non-Violence Ambassador, joining his twin brother Henrik to create their own interpretation of The Knotted Gun, titled 830 13 for Peace. Named after the postal code of their hometown Åre, the sculpture features colors and jersey numbers representing both Joel’s Frölunda HC and Henrik’s New York Rangers career.
The Love All sculpture is available in a limited edition, hand-painted and presented in an exclusive gift box with a certificate. A portion of the proceeds supports The Non-Violence Project’s mission.
