Dustin Johnson is an American professional golfer who has achieved significant success on the PGA Tour. In 2015, he became the first player to win each of the four World Golf Championship events. He has also won two major championships: the 2016 U.S. Open and the 2020 Masters Tournament.
In 2015, The Non-Violence Project collaborated with the University of St Andrews in Scotland, near the historic Old Course golf course. The project involved training university students as Non-Violence lecturers, enabling them to teach non-violence principles to school students in nearby, less affluent areas. The initiative caught Johnson’s interest, leading him to become an ambassador for The Non-Violence Project.
As part of his engagement, Johnson designed his own interpretation of The Knotted Gun sculpture, titled Drive for Peace. The original sculpture was later donated to the University of St Andrews.
The Drive for Peace sculpture is available in a limited edition, hand-painted and presented in an exclusive gift box with a certificate. A portion of the proceeds supports The Non-Violence Project’s mission.
The Non-Violence Project Foundation is a non-profit organization with special consultative status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
